Ordering procedures
This is a very simple idea that we are working
towards with all our customers to reduce transport associated
carbon emissions and potentially save you money and time. If you
are currently placing more than one order a week, or even a
fortnight, it’s likely that you could benefit from this simple
idea.
How you can help
Wherever possible, please try to place an order for all the items
you require once per week rather than ordering items separately on a
daily basis. Placing larger, less frequent orders will reduce
the amount of paperwork generated and the amount of packaging
required. It will also help to reduce
the CO2 emissions caused by those deliveries, due to reduced lorry
load weight and potentially less road traffic.
The simple and easy way
The quickest and simplest way to work towards
consolidating your orders is by placing your orders via our internet
ordering facility, “ardent online”. By using our customer internet
ordering facility you have the ability to build your order, save it
and then return at a later date to add to it and process it for
delivery. As an added incentive we are currently running a free
